A fearsome force of Japanese fighters land on the northern coast of Papua New Guinea. Their intention: to seize Port Moresby and invade Australia. The only Australians available to face the onslaught are a small force of ill-equipped and untrained Militia ridiculed as Chocolate Soldiers. It is assumed they will melt in the heat of battle. After sustained attack from the Japanese, the Australians are cut off from their supply lines. Knowing they are the only thing standing between their country and invasion, they have to fight their way back through the most perilous terrain on earth… the KOKODA track.
